Design
The STS Defence Engineering Services department offers full and integrated design. This may be taken from an initial concept or from a detailed specification in accordance with numerous standards.
Disciplines include mechanical, electrical and electronic design all of which are developed into a prototype and production if required.
The design department uses the latest design software to deliver the best possible results; 2D CAD software, Inventor 3D CAD and Autodesk Inventor 2011.

The designs are carried out in well-equipped, professional offices which operate under Lean principles utilising a Project Leader and their team of specialist Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic designers.
A full design pack incorporating all technical drawings and documents required for build is produced and maintained for every project.
