The Electronic Tote (ET) System is a computer based information management system which can display all the inter-related information to which systems controllers require access at their control positions. Each monitoring position is provided with a 13.3" flat panel touch screen display showing selectable totes with information that is kept up to date by an operator working at an editing position. The ET system can also store data and provide statistical summaries from its database. Electronic Toting Air Traffic Control (ATC) equipment is essential to the smooth and safe operation of military platforms; enabling operations, engineering, ATC, administration, and rescue services to perform their duties in a coherent and safe environment. The Electronic Tote (ET) system installed at Army and RAF airfields, is a computer based military Air Traffic Control (ATC) information system that can display all the ATC related information to which Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) require access at their control positions. This includes aircraft movements and weather information. ET is currently installed at 26 RAF Stations in the UK and abroad and handles essential Air Traffic Control data which is distributed multiple controllers at various positions.
