KVM Terminal
The Keyboard, Video and Mouse (KVM) Terminal, designed and manufactured, by STS Defence Ltd provides an innovative solution to both ship-borne and office based IT environments, where space and security is of a premium.
The KVM Terminal case, is constructed out of Aluminium and can incorporate a wide range of screens to suit differing requirements and environments.
The terminal consists of a keyboard with touchpad mouse, an LCD screen with VGA or XGA input and 115V/240V auto sensing power supply.
Power, Keyboard, Video and Mouse inputs are designed to be plugged into the side of the case. Keyboard and Mouse connections can be either PS/2 or USB with the power being a standard Switchable IEC320 socket.
The KVM Terminal has no memory or storage capability and thus retains no data. As such it can be used in highly classified situations where restrictions are in place for data transfer.
Its portability makes it a highly effective tool in locations where space is a premium and security is paramount.
The KVM Terminal can be used for server administration where space for a rack-mounted screen and keyboard is not possible, as well as being able to connect directly to a desktop PC.
The KVM Terminal is both rugged and portable and is no bigger than a standard office briefcase.
