About STS Defence

At STS Defence we focus on working in partnership with our customers developing initial concepts into reality, through our innovative and award winning service.

With over 40 years’ experience of working on Ministry of Defence projects, we have developed an impressive portfolio of through-life capabilities that are essential to our clients.

We offer flexibility and agility, with a breadth of design led engineering capability, and manufacturing services for electronic and electro-mechanical assembly which includes procurement, test, fabrication and finishing.

A ‘can do’ approach to projects is what separates us from our competitors; we go that extra mile to provide an unparalleled service for our customers.

We take on a range of projects, in various sizes for example: small batch printed circuit boards, bespoke one-off prototypes and multi-platform system integration.

Engineering Services

Our Engineering Services department operates within a number of UK MoD Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), providing a full range of services, in support of operating equipment and systems.

Manufacturing Services

World-class, dynamic and customer focused is the best way to describe our Manufacturing Services department, who provide a range of electronic and mechanical services to the Defence & Security, Aerospace and Marine markets.

Sub Sea Solutions

Our Sub Sea department manufactures Sub-Sea Coaxial cable connectors, specifically designed to meet the harsh requirements of underwater communications.

Years of industry experience has allowed us to recognise/identify market needs; our corporate innovation has provided industry based solutions such as: Ships Furniture, Modular Support, Royal Airforce Equipment (RAE) Cases, 19” Equipment Racks and Dormant Ship Monitoring Systems.

Approvals

STS Defence were the UK's 1^st company to gain NADCAP Accreditation for the manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards (AC7120) and in 2010 we became the 1^st company in Europe to be accredited with NACDAP Cable & Wiring Assembly (AC7121).
