Manufacturing Excellence Award 2010

STS Defence Ltd wins the Manufacturing Excellence Award at the Gosport Business Awards 2010

STS Defence is pleased to announce that its facility in Gosport Hampshire has won the Manufacturing Excellence Award at the recent Gosport Business Awards ceremony. The award, sponsored by Vector Aerospace, recognises the achievement of outstanding success through continuous product and efficiency improvements in a manufacturing environment.

The judges concluded that STS Defence excelled against all the requirements of the Manufacturing Excellence category. They showed specific evidence of continuous improvement - through employment involvement, innovation and a determination to reduce waste. The investment in both plant and people was further evidence of the desire to continually develop and grow their capability, product range and profits.

Managing Director Richard Papanicolaou commented “This award demonstrates our ongoing commitment to delivering excellence to our customers and stakeholders. I am delighted our hard work and progression has been acknowledged within the community.”
