Media and eLearning Developer

The Media Developer will have excellent artistic and digital production skills, with knowledge and experience of the various processes used to create high quality multimedia learning experiences.  He or she will manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through delivery based on customer agreed quality, time and cost constraints.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Development of eLearning
  • Development of company media using various design applications
  • Identification and implementation of best practice in all areas of Graphic Design, Multimedia, Photography and Video
  • Ensuring that media produced is of the highest standard

Qualifications, experience and skills


  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Captivate/Articulate
  • Microsoft Office
  • An understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • An understanding of SCORM/TinCan compliance
  • Competence in developing technology-based design solutions (such as eLearning, multimedia)
  • Degree level qualification or demonstrable track record in media design and delivery
  • Naturally creative and imaginative
  • A team player who enjoys working alongside colleagues and external customers
  • Organised and self-motivated


  • Knowledge of Moodle
  • Knowledge of CAD modelling
  • Audio processing
  • Knowledge of Virtual Reality technology and applications


  • Confident, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and demonstrates strong belief in own ability to succeed
  • Good organisational skills, able to resolve problems and manage conflicting priorities
  • Professional, self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work to tight and demanding timelines
  • Team player, willing to be hands-on when required
