International Men’s Day 2025: Celebrating the Men of STS Defence

STS Defence joins organisations around the world in recognising International Men’s Day 2025, a day dedicated to celebrating the positive contributions of men to their families, communities, workplaces, and society at large.

Observed each year on the 19th of November, International Men’s Day shines a light on the importance of positive male role models, men’s health and wellbeing, and the ongoing journey toward gender equality.

This year, we are increasing our focus on the importance of men’s physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. It reminds us that when men are supported to live healthy, balanced lives, everyone benefits; from families and colleagues to communities and future generations.

At STS Defence, we take this opportunity to recognise the incredible value our male employees bring to the business; as innovators, mentors, teammates, leaders, and friends. From engineering and operations to support and strategy, their hard work and dedication drive our mission forward every day.

Why International Men’s Day Matters:

• Raises awareness of important issues affecting men and boys, including mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and fatherhood
• Encourages open conversations around masculinity, identity, and respectful, inclusive relationships
• Recognises and celebrates the many roles men play at work, at home, and in the community
